Hi, I'm Elizabeth — a Connecticut-based artist, illustrator, and surface pattern designer creating nature-inspired art and seamless repeat patterns for licensing. My heritage-inspired flora, fauna, and coastal designs are shaped by the four seasons of New England, the surrounding woodlands, and my travels. Working in watercolor, gouache, oil, pastel, monotype prints, collage and digital painting, I create high-resolution artwork and pattern collections — from spot illustrations and fine art print collections to fabric collections and wallpaper designs — that help brands, designers, and sewists bring their visions to life. My work is available for licensing across the textile, wallpaper, stationery, home décor, and tech accessory industries.
Creativity has been part of my life since childhood — from helping my father dress retail windows along Madison and Fifth Avenues in New York City, to early sewing and art lessons curated by my mother, to the guidance of our next-door neighbor, a textile designer and draper. My Italian artisan heritage from my grandparents lovingly shows up in my gardens, micro orchard, my cooking and preserves, and my sewing and crochet work.
When I'm not painting or designing, you'll find me cooking and hosting, gardening, reading, enjoying classical and jazz concerts, fishing, crocheting, or exploring antique shops and cozy coffee shops with family and friends. I live in southwestern Connecticut with my husband and family, where nature, our heritage, and everyday life continue to inspire my art.
